Deezer Says AI Music Surpassed Half of Daily Uploads in June 2026

Deezer announced in July 2026 that detected fully AI-generated tracks reached more than 50% of new uploads at a June peak, with around 90,000 AI tracks per day on average in that period.

What the platform or industry reports say

The company reported plans to remove AI tracks tied to streaming fraud and certain unstreamed AI tracks, while excluding detected AI music from editorial recommendations. Upload share and listener share are not the same: Deezer said AI listening was still a small percentage of total streams.

Practical recommendations

Artists distributing to multiple DSPs should monitor each platform’s specific content rules, appeal routes and metadata requirements. Never assume one streaming service’s AI policy applies to all others.
