Streaming Royalties

Streaming royalties are earned from music played on digital platforms such as:

  • Spotify.
  • Apple Music.
  • YouTube.

They are divided into two types:

  1. Interactive Streaming Royalties: Earned from on-demand plays where listeners choose what to play.
  2. Non-Interactive Streaming Royalties: Earned from services like internet radio or curated playlists.

Both recording artists and songwriters are entitled to these royalties.
